True Nature

On my way to family and homeland in the Black Forest at the border triangle to France and Switzerland an good friend and artist, the owner of a spiritual school from the City of Angels (LA) have sent these lines to us: “During these changing and often confusing times, remember to stay focused on that which does not change and is never confused — the great power that has brought you, the earth, and all universes into existence. The maya of this world — the great illusion — is so tricky. It tricks us into putting our focus on things we cannot change no matter how hard we try.
If something is yours to change, you will be given the power and resources to create that change. Struggling to change what is not yours is like leaning over to row someone else’s boat while yours drifts hopelessly into the rocks.
Every human being has a unique nature. A person who lives in harmony with his true nature finds inner contentment and lasting peace. If life seems conflictual and unsatisfying to you, ask yourself: Am I living in harmony with my true nature, or am I trying to row someone else’s boat?”
