Tofino on Vancouver Island, British Columbia is one of these spots – like Goa, Big Sur and Tulum. Extremely laid back. A unspoiled, pristine piece of nature to discover. Tucked inside the edge of an old growth rainforest on B.C’s rugged West Coast, it is the place to be for surfers and hippies. And people who do not care about the cold and foggy weather. It is one of these places which are even more beautiful in bad weather. No kidding! It’s a wonderful place to stay for weeks when it is too hot here in Europe. Stay, if possible,  at the sea in the gorgeous Wickaninnish Inn, http://www.wickinn.com, rent a board and a wetsuit or just walk…on the bright side of life and look on the bright side of things. Just look. There is nothing else to do. Just be and see. And in the evening have diner at wolf in the fog, http://www.wolfinthefog.com – yummy, creative food. All you really need to bring to Tofino and B.C. is a relaxed state of mind and – your camera.
